Hryb O. Mechanisms of gastric microcirculation changes in the elderly with chronic disorders of the stomach

Object - chronic pathology of the stomach (chronic atrophic gastritis without the presence of erosions and erosions of antral chronic autoimmune gastritis); goal - to find out the mechanisms of blood flow changes in the gastric mucosa and their influence on acid-function in elderly patients with chronic diseases of the stomach; methods - instrumental, laboratory, morphological, imunomermentnyy, statistics; results - found that in patients with chronic gastritis reduced blood flow in the area secretory gastric mucosa, leading to reduced functional reserves of acid-forming function of the stomach until the development of achlorhydria; in patients with chronic gastritis important factor in reducing blood flow to the area secretory gastric mucosa is endothelial dysfunction, which is caused by deficiency of endogenous L-arginine; under the influence of a course of L-arginine noted significant improvement microvascular endothelial vasomotor function and increase gastric blood flow; reduce blood flow to the area secretory gastric mucosa in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis enhances platelet aggregation and changes in activity level of the sympathetic autonomic nervous system.
