3. Dissertation is devoted to theoretical substantiation and improvement of optimal parameters of forming of the yield and grain quality of spring malting barley in conditions of Right-bank Forest Steppe of Ukraine. Morphophysiological characteristics of the formation and implementation of the biological potential productivity of spring malting barley varieties depending on soil and climatic conditions and growing technology elements are revealed. The particularities of influence of growing technology elements, including fertilizers, crop retardant protection and their complex effects on performance were established. The optimal parameters of pattern formation and structure elements of the crop of spring barley depending on cultivation technology were determined: overall survival, resistance to lodging, plant density and productive stems, tillering coefficient, spike length, number of spikelets and grains in the ear, grain weight from the spike. The interrelation between structure elements crop and ways to control their parameters using technological elements was established.
