Essay

Object of study - psoriasis vulgaris. The purpose of research - to increase the effectiveness of treatment and develop the treatment method for patients with psoriasis by studying pathogenic features of skin lesions using immunological, histopathological, immunohistochemical studies and quality of life. Research methods: general clinical, immunological, immunohistochemical, pathomorphological, psychometric and statistical. The thesis deals with the solution to the problem, which implies improvement of therapy efficacy by elaboration of treatment method for patients with psoriasis vulgaris of various degrees of severity of its course, involving medications, aimed at reduction of inflammation and neovascularization processes, in addition to traditional treatment schemes. Peculiarities of the development of skin lesions have been determined by investigation of pathohistological, immunohistochemical picture (CD34, VEGF, ММР-9, CD3, CD68, S100, р63, Кі-67) of TNF- ? level and life quality level. A method of complex treatment of patients with psoriasis vulgaris has been elaborated, and its efficacy in comparison with traditional treatment methods has been proved. Results of the study are introduced into practice of the Lviv Regional Municipal Dermato-Venerological Dispensary, Municipal Institution "Zaporizhzhia Regional Dermato-Venerological Clinical Dispensary", Municipal Institution "Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Dermato-Venerological Dispensary", Municipal Institution "Odessa Regional Clinical Dermato-Venerological Dispensary", Territorial Medical Association "Dermatovenereology" in Kiev City, as well as in the learning process of Department of Dermatovenerology of National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk, Department of Dermatovenerology of Higher Education Institution of Ukraine "Bukovinian State Medical University", Department of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology with Course of Aesthetic Medicine of Faculty of Postgraduate Education of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Department Of Dermatology and Venereology of Odessa National Medical University.
