Parakuda I. Economic and Legal Regulation of Warehousing in Ukraine

The existing theoretical insights into warehousing management have been generalized and classified. The economic and legal identity of warehousing being made by business entities - warehouses (by their holders) through their main economic purpose - custody of stocks has been revealed. Effect of the economic factors on contemporary economic and legal understanding of the warehousing has been investigated, as well as the warehousing concepts and features have been determined and classified. The legal forms for warehousing in Ukraine are elucidated. The concept, types, functions and importance of warehouses are determined. Particular attention is paid to the peculiarities of the legal status inside Ukraine of commodity warehouse, corn houses, special customs warehouses, excise (tax) warehouse. The concept, specific conditions and types of warehouse contracts, and warehouse documents are defined. Recommendations aimed at further improving the provisions of economic legislation related to regulation of business and economic activities for warehouse storage.
