Mostovych A. Improvement of methods and means of experimental evaluation of indexes of traffic safety and smoothness of movement of railway rolling stock

The thesis is devoted to solving actual scientific and practical task of improvement of methods and means of experimental assessment of performance of traffic safety and smoothness of movement of railway rolling stock by improving the methodological support and testing tools. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of stress-strain state of standard wagon wheel showed the dependencies of stress zones appearance on the disc on sequential effect of vertical and horizontal power load, which led to the choice of allocation scheme of resistance strain gages on the wheel disk for direct measurement of interaction forces of wheel sets and rails. General requirements for the system of direct measurement of interaction forces of wheel sets and rails were justified in accordance with the result of the conducted study. General requirements for software and hardware complex for determination of dynamic loading of running gears under operating conditions of the rolling stock were developed. The procedure of deep processing of results of dynamic testing of rail vehicles, which involves conducting correlation and spectral analysis of accelerations of main elements of the rolling stock, was suggested.
