Object: the process of spelling literacy learning of primary school students. Аim: to prove theoretically, develop practically and check experimentally the methodology of developing of punctuation literacy of primary school students and check its effectiveness. Practical value: the linguodidactic basic principles have been developed and pedagogic system of punctuation literacy development of primary school students has been modelled; interactive methods and techniques of learning, the system of punctuation exercises and tasks have been offered; the lessons on punctuation teaching and spelling book for primary school students have been prepared. Methods: theoretical, empirical, experimental, statistic.
