Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of clinical picture, biochemical changes in serum liver enzymes, lipid and bile acids spectrum in patients with hyperuricemia in combination with obesity and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. The aim of the research was to improve diagnostics and to develop effective treatment regimen for the above mentioned patients. Precise clinical examination of 84 hospitalized patients with hyperuricemia in combination with obesity and nonalcoholic steatohepatatis (the main group), along with 62 patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatatis without hyperuricemia comparableby age and sex (the control group) was performed. It was found that patients with hyperuricemia with obesity and nonalcoholic steatohepatatis significantly more frequently have «biliary sludge» and lesion properties of bile. We found the correlation between the content of different strengths of uric acid in the blood and indicators of transaminase activity, qualitative and quantitative composition of bile. It was established that combined therapy with allopurinol, rosuvastatin and ursodeoxycholic acid promotes normalization of serum liver enzymes levels, lipid indicators and corrects the balance between bile acids, that improves lithogenic properties of bile and prevents the formation of gallstones in this category of patients.
