Object of study: the processes in tense gas-saturated coal mass during the hydrodynamic impact through decreasing technological borehole. Subject of study: degassing method parameters and reduce gas-dynamic activity of the coal seam at the top of longwall with the use of hydrodynamic impact. The purpose of research: justification hydrodynamic parameters degassing method and reduced gas-dynamic activity steep coal seam at the top of the longwall. These studies had installed the gas outflow patterns before and after HDI on strenuous gas-saturated media, taking into account their natural gas-bearing, mining area, the amount of air to ventilate, the daily average concentration of methane in the outgoing air stream, as well as relations borehole diameter to its length on coal. The parameters of "Method..." application conditions, process parameters, technological parameters and criteria of efficiency were developed and justified, that allowed us to develop a method of degassing and reducing of gas-dynamic activity of steep coal seams in the upper part of the working face, expressed in the form of technological schemes.
