The thesis is devoted to study the impact of cytostatic compounds pyrrole derivatives 1-(4-Cl-benzyl)-3-Cl-4-(CF3-phenylamino)-1H-pyrrol-2,5-dione (MI-1) and 5-amino-4-(1,3-benzothyazol-2-yl)-1-(3-methoxyphenyl)-1,2-dihydro-3Н-pyrrol-3-one (D1) on rat caecum, ascending and descending colon and rectum mucosa morpho-functional state in norma and under experimental colitis. No damaging effects on bowel mucosa, caused by pyrrole derivatives MI-1 and D acting in increasing doses, were observed. On the contrary, common antitumor drug 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), chosen for comparison, caused pronounced lesions of bowel mucosa.
