Lopit V. Tactics of surgical treatment of acute varicothrombophlebitis in the pool of the small saphenous vein.

In the dissertation work are represented the results of diagnostics and treatment of patients with acute varicothrombophlebitis of the small saphenous vein. It's established, that in 60,4% of patients with acute varicothrombophlebitis, under observing, we see passing of the process to the deep venous system, which requires additional methods of treatment, thrombectomy from the popliteal vein, resection of sapheno-popliteal junction, phlebectomy, ligation of the thrombosed veins, extirpation (resection) of the trombosed perforator veins. It's also established, that in 20,8% of patients, suffering from acute varicothrombophlebitis, we can observe thrombosis of surral veins. On this basis, there is an algorithm of treatment, due to the localization of the thrombotic process, as a result, the symptoms of varicose expansion of the superficial veins of lower limbs, complicated with acute varicothrombophlebitis, have regressed in 5,5 times per year and in 7,3 times in three years of expectations.
