Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of peculiarities of self-regulation in future psychologists as a factor of their professional formation. The paper highlights the essence and personal resources of future professional psychologists development. The author has worked out and substantiated a structurally functional model of personality self-regulation in future psychologists in the process of their preparation for professional activity. The author has investigated the structure of psychological readiness for professional activity as an indicator of a future psychologist formation. The research paper identifies the place of the value-motivational, the emotional and volitional as well as the regulatory components of readiness in the typology of future psychologists readiness presented by us. It is shown that the relationship and interaction among qualities and characteristics of each of the components makes it possible to consider them as an integral psychological formation, as a complex of psychological characteristics that at a certain level of their formation define the trends of professional and personal self-realization of the agent in future professional activity. It is proved that due to a purposeful developmental impact there takes place the formation of the regulatory capacity of the personality as a factor of readiness for professional activities.
