Botsula O. Ecological and economic valuation of land for forestry purposes in Ukraine

In the thesis a research theoretical foundations in the determination of "environmental and economic evaluation of the forestry land purposes" and their accounting as monetary expression of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the forest unit, and benefits derived from its use. Conceptual bases of formation of ecology and economic evaluation of forestry land purposes, based on consideration of the characteristics of the light distribution to social, environmental and economic aspects were determined. The theoretical foundations of environmental and economic characteristics of forestry land purposes as evaluation object were developed. The system of environmental and economic evaluation of forestry land purposes was developed by using SWOT-analysis. This is help to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and development ways of environmental and economic evaluation of forestry land purposes system. The features and current status of forestry land purposes and their current state of economic activity had been analysed. The algorithm of environmental and economic evaluation of forestry land purposes was proved. The methodical approach to the formation of complex ecological and economic evaluation of forestry land purposes has been offered. The organizational and economic mechanism of forestry land purposes management was formed.
