Essay

The thesis deals with the theory of building separate, independent Ukraine through the research of S. Shelukhin's works. Based on the systematic analysis of normative and legal acts, archival documents and materials, some of which were first introduced into scientific circulation only in our time, because of a ban on the access to them during the Soviet Union, we were able to explore S. Shelukhin's opinions as to what the Ukrainian state should be like, as well as its independence, relations between the political elite and the Ukrainian people, the distribution of power, etc. This research is aimed at a thorough analysis of the works of S. Shelukhin in order to use the experience of previous years of the Ukrainian state and prevent the mistakes of the past today. Ukraine today is in a difficult period of his state, therefore it is necessary to analyze the possible creation of an independent state that in his work offered Shelukhin S., who was a champion of free, independent Ukrainian state with a promising future.
