Bobrun N. Principles of areas development in the zones influenced by the international transport corridors.

Object of study is a territory in the zone of influence of international transport corridors, with special consideration of the zone of influence of AITC №3 within Lviv region. The aim of study is to determine the spatial and functional principles and guidelines for urban development of areas in zones of influence of international transport corridors. To implement the tasks used a set of scientific research methods. Analyzed and summarized the experience of the formation of international transport corridors; clarified that the zone of influence AITC is a new town planning object in the Ukrainian practice; discovered resource potential of zone of influence of AITC №3 within Lviv region and its planning structure; detected threats and potential of urban areas in zones of influence of AITC; identified factors of priority development of the area; formulated spatial and functional principles and guidelines for urban development of the zones of influence of AITC. Results of the study can be used to further research by research institutions when updating General Scheme of Planning in Ukraine and implementation of practical development project organizations dealing with spatial planning and designing master plans of communities in zones AITC in Ukraine. Results of the study can be applied in design practice and academic planning at the consideration of urban development areas in the zone of influence of international transport corridors.
