The dissertation explores revolutionary movements and regime transformation in the Arab world in the period from the end of 2010 – beginning of 2011. It looks into preconditions and precipitants behind the formation of revolutionary movements, their essential features and factors that caused their trajectories differentiation. Through comparison with the Arab world it examines the revolutionary process (2004 and 2013-2014) in Ukraine.
