Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the problem concerned with increasing effectiveness of the treatment of patients with chronic prostatitis (CP) combined with a metabolic syndrome (MS) by using physical agents and non- drug methods against the background of drug therapy at the outpatient stage. In the thesis there were given specified data about the peculiarities of the CP patients state against the background of MS. Pathogenetically there was substantiated the expediency of application of physical factors and non-drug methods combined medical therapy in these patients. It was proved that the use of transrectal microwave hyperthermia, rectal ozone therapy, mineral water "Berezovskaya", modified diet and dosed therapeutic walking with standard drug therapy improves the efficacy of outpatient treatment of CP patients with MS, improving clinical, laboratory and instrumental symptoms of both diseases, improving the quality of life of this category of patients, directly and in 6 months after treatment.
