Melnychuk I. The characters of foreigners in the works of F. M. Dostoevsky in the context of his "hruntivnytsky" ideas

The artistic diversity and foreigners characters' ideological and functional status in the works of Dostoevsky according to the context of his "hruntivnytski" ideas and in the correlation with characters who embodies the expressive Russian national firstling, as well as those that make up the phenomenon of "Russian foreigner" are enucleated in the thesis. The archaic and mythological level of opposition "insiders - outsiders" and opposition "Russian - foreigners" in Dostoevsky, based on the writer's total anthropological attitude and his reliance on the "nature" of individual, are interrelated. The general and distinguishable in the foreigners' characters who performs different national mentalities are deduced. The principles and possible solutions to the conflicts between Russian and foreign characters in the works of Dostoevsky and recognized and the criteria of "all humanity" as interpreted by the author is identified. Poetic - style and structural - narrative particularities of foreigners' representation in fictional prose and opinion journalism of F. M. Dostoevsky are characterized.
