Essay

The meningoencephalitis in HIV-infected patients clinical manifestation was evaluated firstly. The influence of the neuroinfection transmission on its development probability and disease clinical manifestation were set firstly. The factors were determined that affect the rate of disease progression and survival duration of HIV/AIDS patients with meningoencephalitis. The correlative indexes were established firstly that define the long-term possibility of the course and outcome of disease in patients with AIDS: the direct correlations of the disease clinical manifestation, severity and death episodes were set with the patients' age, the intoxicative syndrome severity and the immune system failure expression. Blood-brain barrier expressed changes and glial components of tne brain parenchyma were determined firstly in HIV-infected patients with meningoencephalitis. Immune system suppression reflected cellular functional activity were evaluated firstly in HIV-infected patients with meningoencephalitis. The data obtained allow to concretize the guidelines for HIV/AIDS patients with meningoencephalitis diagnosis to justify the ways of HIV infection progress delay and to predict the meningoencephalitis manifestation in case of the severe immunodeficiency depending on the disease etiology.
