Dissertation is devoted to subanalysis of population studies that concerned the 1000 respondents (468 men and 532 women) aged 30-69 years, depending on the degree and type of obesity and clinical and instrumental examination of 160 patients with hypertension and metabolic syndrome. It is advisable to detect FLI of additional prognostic marker in order to mark the cohort of high cardiovascular risk. It is reasonable to use FLI for forecasting macro and micro-vascular complications of diabetes of the type 2 in consideration of close association between FLI and cardio metabolic risk. Keywords
