Essay

The thesis is devoted to complex research of constitutional legal principles of the representative mandate institute in Ukraine. It investigates theoretical and practical aspects of representation realization as the mandate in domestic and foreign constitutional practice. The thesis analyzes the formation of ideas of national (political) representation and modern theories concerning its understanding. Conceptual approaches to understand the representative mandate and its essence (content) are considered. The constitutional fundamentals (principles) of parliament and local councils deputies' representative mandate through a prism of theoretical and practical problems of their realization are found out, and also the features of implementation the mandate by a President of Ukraine and a chairmen of local council are characterized. The paper provides recommendations and outlines the key directions for legal regulations development of the representative mandate institute in Ukraine to improve its realization mechanism.
