Chlevyk O. Freedom as a сategory of constitutional law.

The thesis is devoted to the complex exploration of the freedom as a сategory of constitutional law. The nature and forms of freedom, its characteristics as a constitutional value are considered in the research. Being made the conclusion that freedom is an essential attribute of constitutional regulation and an integral part of the constitutional and legal validity, which provides opportunities to supply the interests and to achieve the aims by subjects of constitutional and legal relations. The main purpose of freedom as a constitutional category is to promote and ensure freedom in all spheres of public life and to limit the arbitrariness of state. The genesis of determination the category of "freedom" in the constitutional acts and the general features of freedom as a principle of law and as the principle of constitutional order are researched in the thesis. Also being considered the features of determination the freedom as a constitutional category in the system of the citizen and humans rights and freedoms. Besides that, being determined the specifics of the applying the legal responsibility in the system guaranteed of the freedom as constitutional category and being interrogated legal procedure as methods of freedom provision. The thesis recommends the improvements in the Constitution of Ukraine and the current legislation in the aspect of practical realization of freedom.
