Object - childbirth in women with term pregnancy in cephalic presentation, which require prompt completion of the second period; goal – reduce the incidence of complications in the mother and fetus / newborn through improved methods of imposing a vacuum extractor (VE); methods – anthropometric, clinical, laboratory, functional, instrumental, sociological, biophysical and mathematical, sta-tistical; results – examined the immediate and long-term effects of labor for the mother and the newborn in operative delivery in the second stage of labor with the use of VE; developed a unified mathematical model to determine the position of the presenting fetal head, a safe for use of VE, which takes into account body mass index, these internal and external midwifery research; the advantages of the proposed method of fetal surgery VEs as compared to traditional methods; enlarged view of the structure of obstetric injuries in the event of assisted vaginal delivery by renewable energy in the second stage of labor; the first time with the help of the survey assessed the quality of life and characteristics of sexual function in women after surgical delivery using renewable energy; the first time a studied the incidence of infant and child development during the first year of life after surgical delivery, depending on the method of VE fetus; branch – medicine.
