Kovalenko R. Labour function as a compulsory condition of the labour contract.

The thesis is devoted to systematic and thorough analysis of labour function as a mandatory condition of employment contract. In the paper the content of the employment contract was revealed, the concept and essential features of labour function were defined, the content of work function was analyzed. The genesis of legal regulation of labour function was investigated, the global legal standards regulating labour function of employee were described, theoretical and legal analysis of tests in hiring, reassignment and termination of the employment contract in case of non-compliance to employee's position was carried out. The work function was determined as a set of relevant requirements to be met by an employee to perform specific work due to the employer's requirements.
