Strojanovsky V. The formation of productivity of potato the different groups ripeness in according to the ways of planting under the conditions of Western Forest - Steppe

Object of the study - phenology and dynamics of tuber-formation in varieties of potatoes with different groups of ripeness; accumulation the potato harvest when the method of surface planting of the plant is used. The purpose of work: the studying of biological features of potatoes varieties with the wide usage and processing of the archival base statistical data of science fund and development of new technological elements which provide the high level of potato productivity. The transference to a practically new method of planting tubes - the surface planting, that is soil mulching after the planting by the a layer of straw 20-25 cm. Methods of research - General Scientific - hypothesis (advising experiments), induction-deduction (comparison and generalization), abstraction - specification (pinpoint the main factors), modeling (schemes and graphics), formalization (mathematical statement processes and conclusions), abstraction (logical solutions) and others. Special: field (the research of phenology and agro-technic of crop) and laboratory (biometric researches of plants, chemical analysis, etc.). The results of research phenology are presented in the thesis, the usage of PAR and some physiological and biological indicators of the overall production process which is usual for potato plants. The especially in formation of components of the crop are presented and the best option cultivation technology of potato growing is elaborated up to the method of planting tubers under the straw blanket (mulching). Energy-saving and cost-effectiveness are proved for the surface planting of the potato. The method is implemented in agricultural sector "Colos-Agro" Kamenets-Podilskyy District Khmelnitskyy Region, in the farms of Hotyn District Chernivetskyy Region and farms of Borschivskyy and Chortkivskyy Districts Ternopilskyy Region on area 29.0 hectares.
