The thesis is devoted to improving the friction characteristics of the two-point contact "wheel-rail" effect on the raceway electric shock, and a zone of contact "wheel-rail comb" - ozonated air flow. A method and apparatus reduce wear crest wheelset, allowing to create favorable conditions in contact "wheel-rail crest" due to the influence of ozonated air flow. The parameters of the system impact of electric current and ozonated airflow on the tribological characteristics of the two-point contact.
