Essay

The dissertation is devoted for providing quality of flange by definition constructive, technological and physical and mechanical parameters that provide flanging wall equal thickness without curvature. The new method, which provides profiling of workpiece by extrusion and punching of lintel, was designed. The finite element method was used for creative the mathematical models of flanging process of round holes in the traditional and preformed workpieces, the comparative analysis was conducted. The optimal power modes and parameters of flanging process, which provide flat flanging wall without curvature, were identified. The engineering method was used for developing of analytical method for analysis of profiling process of workpieces and of flanging process. The experimental and theoretical researches confirmed that methods which determining the size and shape of initial workpiece in flanging process of round holes are actual and have opportunity for development. The comparative analysis of parameters of efforts and forming of the metal confirmed that results of mathematical models which were created are adequate and the results were received by experimental and theoretical researches have a high conformity. The error does not exceed 15 %.
