The purpose of the study definition the principles of architectural planning organization of multi-storey parking garages in the largest cities. The object of study multi-storey parking garages in the largest cities. Subject of research the principles of architectural planning organization of multi-storey parking garages. Research methods are based on a comprehensive functional and structural analysis that includes: full-scale survey, photographic images, a statistical analysis of the literature and project documentation, analysis of the factors of influence, graphical, functional modeling, experimental design and expert assessment method. Scientific novelty is the range of major types of the multi-storey parking garages are developed. These are parking, parking facilities and parking garages. Monofunctional multisorey parking garages without car service. And also, garages and garage complexes. Multifunctional multisorey parking garages with the storage and car service; to improve the classification of multi-storey car parks with the introduction of new signs - the number of functions; service levels; planning solutions; the principles of architectural and planning organization are formulated in this thesis. The main principles are functional differentiation, urban spatial location, accessibility of architectural environment, aesthetic and visual perception. The additional principles are economic efficiency and eco-compensating; a common research method is defined and the factors that influence the formation of the multi-storey parking garages are analyzed. The methodological foundations of architectural and planning organization with the establishment of functional performance and cost effective solutions are recommended; further developed guidelines with the placement and techniques to improve the volume-spatial solutions, through the use of innovative methods of formation of their facades. Results of the study are introduced in: project work, educational process, the development of state building codes.
