The thesis deals with the theoretical basis of public monitoring and control in the system of public administration. Scientific work is devoted to study of the theoretical and methodological approaches, as well as to the development of practical recommendations on improvement of mechanisms of public monitoring and control in the system of public administration based on the definition of their types, methods and technologies taking into account the necessary interaction between the state authorities and public organizations.
