The thesis is theoretical and experimental research in the process of Russian language teaching as a foreign language to Greek speaking students on the basis of linguistic and cultural approach. The extent of scientific development of this issue in educational theory and practice has been analyzed as well as the current scientific development of its challenge has been scrutinized. The essence of the linguistic and cultural concept has been defined as well as its structure (cognitive, linguistic, axiological, communicative and praxeological (project) constituents) has been outlined.
