Logachova V. Constitutional and legal foundations of social control in elections and referendums in Ukraine.

The thesis is devoted to the comprehensive study of the constitutional- legal foundations of public control in elections and referendums in Ukraine. In the article the peculiarities of the evolution of ideas of public control and offered her own definition of social control. Isolated and analyzed the function of social control, especially of their implementation and importance for increasing the efficiency of control by the public. Formulated forms of social control in elections and referendums in Ukraine and classified into types: basic and advanced. Considered in detail each of the forms of social control, is formulated positive and negative trends in the further development and functioning of these forms. Proposed criteria for further development of public control on elections and referendums in Ukraine, using the experience of foreigh countries.
