Essay

Thesis is devoted to the improvement of the methodology for defining the seismic safety parameters of open-pit blasting on the basis of the analysis of their monitoring to improve the technical and economic efficiency of open-pit blasting and reduce their environmental impact. The methodology of analysis of monitoring results of open-pit blasting has got further development. On this basis the method of determining the maximum allowable explosive weight by the rate of delay has been improved. The existence of exceeding the travel time of seismic waves under the protected object at the time of the mass blast has been determined. The technique of numerical evaluation of this excess with a temporary rate of seismicity and there has been the first time that its value in the Kryvyi Rih iron ore pits varies between 1,109-2,174 have been defined. For PJSC "YuGOK" pit there has been defined limits on the mass of the explosive stage delay at which the speed of seismic ground motion at a given distance from a mass blast will not exceed normative values. The mathematical model for determining the interhole delay intervals has been developed. The regularities of their changes depending on the basic mass blasting parameters have been determined for the first time. Using the model for determining the level of seismic impact of blasting in the open-pit of PJSC "YuGOK" it has been shown the difference with the actual observed value, not more than 9,1 %. The method of determining the interblocks delay intervals for prevention of seismic wave superposition near the protected sites has been developed and patented in Ukraine. There has been improved a method of accounting of the impact of the seismic mass blasting on the degree of stability of rock slopes and the first to show that their safety factor decreases nonlinearly with increasing mass of the explosive charge attributable to the stage of delay. Defined seismic safety parameters of open-pit blasting were used in the design and construction of a deep input trench of rail transport along the eastern pit wall of PJSC "YuGOK", which reduced the cost of its construction by 14 994,0 th UAH. Industry - Mining (technical sciences).
