The thesis is dedicated to analysis of issues concerning prevention of organization and maintenance of venues aimed at illegal consumption, manufacturing or production of narcotics, psychotropic substances and their analogues. Theoretical and methodological research basis of the abovementioned crimes prevention is presented along with elements of their legal and criminological characteristics and foreign experience of criminal responsibility for these crimes. The system of crime prevention (Article 317 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is designed in relation to social, criminological and individual levels.
