Essay

The object of study - the common psoriasis (the stationary phase, the average degree of severity). The purpose of research - to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with psoriasis and concomitant metabolic syndrome by early individualization of correction of metabolic disturbances and indicators of systemic inflammation. Methods: surveys, clinical, biochemical, immune-enzyme, statistics. Dissertation is devoted to urgent problems of modern dermatology - improving the efficiency of the treatment of psoriasis patients with concomitant metabolic syndrome by based on indicators of systemic inflammation and insulin resistance individualizing of the treatment with metformin hydrochloride. Revealed clinical particularity of psoriasis with concomitant metabolic syndrome as a result of systemic inflammation and carbohydrate metabolism disturbances. Show the dependency of the clinical severity on levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor alpha, insulin and HOMA. The method of treatment of patients with psoriasis with concomitant metabolic syndrome was presented, which involves metformin hydrochloride, improve clinical outcomes and normalize majority laboratory parameters. Results of the study are introduced in the educational process of the Department of Internal Medicine and Medicine of Emergency States with Skin and Venereal Diseases of the Supreme State Educational Institution of Ukraine "Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy", as well as in the practical work of the Poltava Regional Clinical Dermato-Venerological Dispensary.
