Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the influence of mineral nutrition and harvesting schemes of tobacco leaves on tobacco seed yield in the terms of western forest steppes. Variety Ternopilsky 14 showed the maximum yield of tobacco seeds whose average yield was 628 kg/ha, the application of a complete fertilizer normally N120P120K120 and without leaves breakings - 670 kg/ha. Yield decreased by 98 kg on the variant without fertilization. In the variety Burley 38 the average yield was 565 kg/ha, variety Virginia 27 - 527 kg/ha. Carrying of leaf breakings reduced yield of tobacco seed. Yield of tobacco leaves depended on the amount of leaf breakings. For different varieties at three breakings it was harvested 1,83-2,3 t/ha, while at five breakings - 2,17-3,14 t/ha. That is, the more leaf breakings - the higher yield of leaves.
