Object - process of synchronization in multi position passive radio technical synchronization systems of spatially-set about the standards of time and frequency with the use of signals from extraneous general sources. Aim - increase of exactness of synchronization of spatially-set about the standards of time and frequency in a passive system due to the use of compensation for the impact of multipath common source signal (CSS). Subject - passive synchronization method with the use of external source signal (ESS), synchronization errors and their sources, procedures of processing results of measurements of time scale shifts under conditions of presence of multipath pattern of CSS propagation. Methods - theories of time, spectrum and correlation analysis, mathematical modelling of processes in passive synchronization systems, experimental validity test of the results of theoretical research. Results - developed a new method of compensation for the impact of multipath signal common sources on the resulting synchronization error of a multi position passive system; developed a new mathematical model of multi position passive synchronization system; developed new principles of building multipath signal compensators in multi position passive synchronization systems. Implementation - in the training course and research activity at KNURE, Metrological center of military standards of the armed forces of Ukraine, Kharkov; NSC "Institute of Metrology", Kharkov.
