Symulyk Y. Abdominoplasty: surgical correction and prevention of complications.

The thesis is devoted to the treatment of patients with anterior abdominal wall deformities. Abdominoplasty results in the comparison group of patients operated not taking into account such a type of anterior abdominal wall deformities and without prevention of ischemic changes are analyzed retrospectively. A distribution of patients by deformities in view of CT data and myoaponeurotic structure pathomorphological study results was proposed depending on the degree of myoaponeurotic structure changes. The core group patients present with the expediency of a differentiated approach to the choice of a myoaponeurotic structure correction method depending on the deformity type. The use of synthetic mesh for myoaponeurotic structure weakness correction both to prevent and to correct anterior abdominal wall deformity recurrence is proposed and the prevention measures for adipodermal flap and navel ischemia are developed. The used measures allowed to increase a number of remote good results of treatment from 41% in the comparison group up to 79% in the core group and to reduce a number of poor results from 19% to 9%.
