The thesis focuses on a theoretical ground, development and experimental verification of methodology for English professionally oriented dialogue speech teaching to future general practitioners (GPs). The analysis of the current state of foreign language training in medical universities has been observed. It was found that English professionally oriented dialogue speech is an integral part of medical professional sphere. Social and communicative, psychological and linguistic features of dialogue speech for future GPs have been studied. Non-verbal means of GPs professional communication have been analyzed. The modern training requirements and specified content of training for GPs English professionally oriented dialogue speech have been determined.
