Zhadan Y. Ensuring of urban social security: the organizational and functional aspects

This thesis is devoted to substantiation of directions of improving organizational and functional local government's principles to ensurethe social safety of the city, as well as to processing the social safety model and to the organization of its practical implementation. Theoretical grounds of model building are based on the assumptionthat wellbalanced development of an urban economic system in the conditionsof consolidationof the inter-territorial social and industrial integration trend is the basis of forming the grounds for the social security of the city, which is the interim link in the system of national safety of the state. The coordinating role of the local government in the model implementation is to establish administrative, organizational, institutional and economic fundamentals for thedevelopment of the socially oriented economic system of the city. This thesis, on the basis of a thorough analysis of organizational and functional aspects of guaranteeing safety,offers a complex approach to building an organizational and functional model of the city's social safety.This model will allowthe local government to satisfy community needs in the safety of organization of productive life processeson a new quality level.
