Essay

The Thesis deals with comprehensive research of phraseological innovations in modern Polish prosaic texts. Phraseological innovations were considered applying two approaches: structural-semantic and functional-pragmatic. The degree of impact of innovative transition upon the phraseological unit was assessed. Functions and pragmatic potential of phraseological innovations in the fictional text were defined.
