Ponomarenko N. Hygienic assessment of environment and state of health of child's population of the Chernihiv agrarian region.

Dissertation is aimed at solving of actual scientific task - hygienical assessment of factors of the environment and establishment of their interconnection with the state of health of child's population of rural districts of the Chernihiv region with the aim of susbstantiation of prophylactic measures. By the total pollution index (І), that integrally characterizes chemical, bacterial, helminth and radiation pollution of drinking-water (at the centralized and decentralizing water-supply systems), atmospheric air, soil, food and raw food material, 22 district territories of the area are divided on 3 groups: very polluted, polluted and slightly polluted. The leading factors that affect the health of the rural child population, including the factors, the effect of influence of that on the state of health of children appeared deferred in time. The territories of an increase risk were identied, where the high indexes of total pollution of environment coincide with a high level and growth dynamics of infant mortality, primary and general morbidity of children. The prophylactic measures were substantiated and are about directing on preventing of negative influence of pollution of environment of the Chernihiv agrarian region on the indexes of health of rising generation.
