Kryvonos K. The substantiation of the regional concept of public health and environment protection from the influence of waste.

According to the program of field hygienic and sanitary-toxicological experimental studies on warm-blooded it was scientifically grounded and developed the ecological-hygienic regional conception of public health and environment protection from the waste influence. The concept defines the medical and ecological strategic direction aimed at protecting public health and environment from the harmful effects of waste and the consistency in the development and implementation of immediate and long-term hygiene, environmental, sanitary and economic measures and decisions. On the basis of studying the situation of waste management in the world, Ukraine and the particular region, as well as of the own long-term research of the impact of a large landfill on the environment, the impact of toxic waste on human health and the laboratory animals, hygienic assessment of technology disposal of toxic waste, the own expert sanitary-hygienic assessments of industrial wastes of various industries there were made generalizations about trends and specific measures that must be implemented at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and different structures at the regional level in order to minimize the harmful effects of waste on the environment and public health.
