This research reveals on the features of modern military-political conflicts and effective ways of their settlement. It reveals the essence of military and political conflict characterized singled origins, patterns, structural elements of the military and political conflicts of our time, developed a typology of military-political conflicts and proved its practical value in developing expert recommendations to resolve data conflicts. In the analyzed conflicts of our attention was drawn to their origins and has been suggested in relation to sources of military conflicts in the context of their relationship with global political processes. Most armed conflicts are internal and are the result of a power struggle in the individual countries. This defines the relationship between the parties to an armed conflict as one that is not governed by rules of warfare or individual conventions. Military operations are conducted mostly randomly at the wide range of available weapons systems. However, in present military conflict becomes qualitatively new content as the content of hostilities, quantitative and qualitative indicators, and the type of disputes are resolved. In this case the first plan they solved the socio-political conditions of conflict, ethnic strife, separatism, territorial disputes, national mentality (egoism) a particular ethnic group, elementary struggle for power, economic disputes, etc., have increased the number of both international and hazardous domestic social and political conflicts, and the latter in most cases, escalated into local, regional conflicts involving coalitions of states against one country. In the XXI century can clearly be seen by the fact that wars are not declared, and begun developing for them is not a common scenario that allows even the leading countries quickly immersed in the chaos of civil war and a humanitarian catastrophe. In the West, a new type of war is called "hybrid war". Hybrid war is not an entirely new phenomenon in world history. In fact, any hybrid warfare is a multidimensional process that combines traditional forms of violence, cyberwar, terrorism, organized crime, irregular military forces, private military companies. Because increasingly in modern conditions of regular government troops have to confront amorphous enemy, which is difficult to identify and which uses a wide range of methods of implementation of violence to achieve asymmetric advantage.
