Golovachova A. The Civil Protection Under Copyright Law in Ukraine and Countries of Different Legal Systems.

The thesis is a completed independent scientific work devoted to the comprehensive research of economic and legal regulation of mediation in insurance and reinsurance. The paper discloses the essence of mediation in insurance and reinsurance as a result it makes a differentiation of the entities that carry out intermediary activity in insurance and reinsurance (insurance agents, insurance and reinsurance brokers) and other entities that perform specific support functions in the process of concluding and executing insurance or reinsurance contracts (underwriters, surveyors, emergency commissioners, adjusters, and average adjusters). The paper also explains the legal nature of the intermediary activity in insurance and reinsurance as a form of economic activity, defines the concept and its specific features. According to the results of the study it finds that insurance and reinsurance intermediaries are carrying out activities for the production of socially useful products of special kind - intermediary services in insurance and reinsurance, the specifics of which is a combination of the features of the insurance, reinsurance and brokerage services. As a result, the author concludes that the intermediary activity in insurance and reinsurance intermediary is a special kind of business activity and is not part of the insurance activity. The author also analyzes and systematizes the features of legal regulation of sources of mediation in this area.
