Essay

The thesis is dedicated to a polyaspect analysis of figurative visions of apocalypse, that are presented in Ukrainian postmodern novel. Sense bearing basics of the main interpretations of the world catastrophism ideas were defined, the experience of the native and foreign researchers of apocalyptic discourse was generalized and an authorial characteristic of types of apocalyptic visions in the novel of postmodern period in Ukrainian literature was suggested (an apocalypse as a game, an apocalypse as a prediction, an apocalypse as an event).
