Essay

On the base of complex examination of 120 patients with spontaneous hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhages (ICH) - their clinical signs, peculiarities of course and prognosis of short-term clinical outcome had studied. There was significant association between intraventricular blood breakthrough and the volume of the ICH of any location. Clinical manifestations of ICH in patients with diabetes mellitus and stress-induced hyperglycemia had greater severity of stroke assessed by the NIHSS scale than in patients without both. Stress-induced hyperglycemia is associated with death in acute period of the spontaneous hypertensive ICH. Main prognostic criteria that have unfavorable prognostic influence on the course of hypertensive ICH had identified. Treatment strategy of ICH had substantiated.
