In the thesis, based on the analysis of historical and legal documents, legislations, is observed the history of development of constitutional legal status of the child in Ukraine. The essence of scientific study of the research topic is found out, its methodology is defined. The paper identified the constitutional and legal status of the child in Ukraine and its elements by analysing the scientists' views. Child's legal personality, rights, freedoms and duties are considered.
