Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of the influence of the main environmental factors (temperature, humidity, pH) on sperm cells preservation in forensic tests objects. It is found that without contact with foreign substances intact sperm cells from the material evidence stored in a significant number of at least 3 days, and at a reduced temperature (+10° C and below) - within 3 weeks. It is shown that under the impact of substances with a pH different from the pH of semen, sperm integrity probability decreases. Thus substances with acidic pH have less detrimental effect on sperm cell structure compared with alkali. Thus extreme pH values are the most detrimental to the cells integrity. Inverse dependence of sperm cells integrity preservation to the temperature and humidity at all pH values was revealed. The analysis of the influence of foreign substances, let us to disclose that washing powder was the most harmful for the sperm cell, and soap solution and "Coca-Cola" drink were the least ones. The scheme of forensic biological investigation of sperm depending on the time of the offense and the sample storage conditions was developed.
