The thesis investigates the problem of skill-formation for conducting a chemical experiment at school of future Natural Sciences teachers. The skill-system for running a chemical experiment of future Natural Sciences teachers at school is defined. The dissertation defines the essence, functions, features of chemical experiments in high school and its classification in the scientific literature. A generalized classification of the school chemical experiment which Chemistry teachers often use in their work is introduced. The methodology of skill-formation for conducting a chemical experiment at school of future Natural Sciences teachers and its model are analyzed. The dissertation investigates the criteria and indicators of skill-formation for conducting a chemical experiment at school of future Natural Sciences teachers. The methodology of skill-formation for conducting a chemical experiment at school as a system of interconnected methods, ways and means of teaching was put into practice into the educational process which aimed at 3 blocks of skill-formation. Pedagogical experiment confirmed the efficiency of the skill-formation methodology for conducting the chemical experiment at school of future Natural Sciences teachers.
