This research focuses on the nature, role, age characteristics and personality determinants of self-confidence, its structure, criteria, performance measurement, definition of terms, ways and means to improve the impact of its intensity. The paper presents an analysis of scientific concepts and theoretical approaches to the study of confidence in foreign, Soviet and native psychology, revealed age features home of its expression. Proved developed, tested psycho corrective program for the development of teenagers’ self-confidence by acting as its structural components and the active personality determinants of social and psychological methods.
