This research focuses on problem of diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders (MD) in parents whose children have cerebral palsy and autism. Based on psychopathological, psychological features of mental status of parents were developed algorithm of diagnostics, psychotherapy and psychopharmatherapy in treatment of MD. Results of psychodiagnostic examinations are revealed dominant psychopathological syndromes in the parents: mild depressive episodes (F32.0), phobic anxiety disorders (F40.9), mixed anxiety and depressive disorders (F41.2), adaptation disorder with mixed anxious and depressed mood (F43.23), hypochondria (F45.2), state of vital exhaustion (Z73.0) and lack of relaxation and leisure (Z73.2).The influence of child nosology on the formation and development of MD established in their parents: parents, whose children suffer from cerebral palsy, often suffer from adaptive and hypochondria disorders. The results of gender analyze were shown that mothers more suffer from anxiety, depressive and hypochondriac disorders, and only fathers children with cerebral palsy had a level of neurasthenic disorders (F48), than their wives. The algorithm of combined therapy, given nosology and level of children's psychosocial rehabilitation, significantly improved the effectiveness of psychotherapy and psychopharmatherapy of MD in parents. The treatment helped reduce the frequency of MD dominant syndromes by the level of anxiety, depression, neurasthenic and hypochondriac disorders that confirmed the feasibility of its practical use. The risk group for MD developed consist mothers, whose children suffer from cerebral palsy, in terms of first 3-5 years after determining the correct diagnosis in a child and they have worse effectiveness of psychopharmatherapy.
